Commerce is extending the funding application round for multifamily rental housing capital awards funded by the National Housing Trust Fund (NHTF) and HOME programs. For the purposes of this NOFA, Multifamily Rental Housing refers to a project intended to provide habitable space to more than one household (including single-person households). The funding is targeted to housing affordable to people at or below the program's applicable income limits, with income, rent, and other restrictions for a period of affordability of 15 to 30 years.
