The Indian Community Development Block Grant (ICDBG) program is designed to support viable Indian and Alaska Native communities, with a focus on creating decent housing, suitable living environments, and economic opportunities for persons of low and moderate incomes. Projects funded must principally benefit low- and moderate-income persons. The ICDBG also provides Imminent Threat Grants to address immediate dangers to public health or safety of tribal residents. Activities under the program may include housing, infrastructure, planning, and economic development.
