The Washington State Developmental Disabilities Council (DDC) is accepting proposals for the Legislative Engagement, Information and Tools program. This two-year project provides $120,000 per year, with the option to renew each year through September 2031. The goal of the program is to help people with developmental disabilities and their families have a stronger voice in public policy, protect their rights, improve fair access to services and support culturally responsive, community-driven systems. Activities include advocacy, capacity building, and systemic change activities.

      Applicants are highly encouraged to attend a pre-proposal conference on June 8, 2026. Proposals must be submitted via the Washington State WEBs Solicitation Management System. All proposals must demonstrate the ability to provide advocacy and support for individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
