Financial Assistance for Wildfire Resilience and Forest Health

From WA Department of Natural Resources

This program focuses on technical and financial assistance to implement forest health or wildfire mitigation treatments or to help landowners write forest management plans. Reducing overcrowding in forests, through thinning or pruning back ladder fuels, reduces competition for light, water, and nutrients among remaining trees, improving forest health and reducing risks of catastrophic fire.
