On-Call Dispute Resolution Services for Tribal Affairs Land Use and Permitting

The Washington Department of Commerce (DOC) is initiating a Request for Qualifications and Quotes (RFQQ) to solicit proposals from firms interested in providing mediation services related to the Growth Management Act and comprehensive planning coordination with tribes, local governments and special districts disputes to be available, as needed, on an on-call basis. Washington DOC intends to develop a roster of agencies to provide mediation and facilitation services for specific topics in accordance with a formal dispute resolution process. Disputes may also involve disputes between social service providers and local governments regarding the siting and permitting of supportive housing, emergency housing and behavioral health facilities.
