Tribal Home Electrification & Appliance Rebates Program

Funding for Tribal households to pay for energy efficiency and electrification upgrades, including appliances. Awards of less than $500,000 receive $100% of funds in one tranche. Awards between $500,000 and $3 million receive funding in two tranches. Awards over $3 million receive funds in three tranches.

      Tribes can integrate rebates with other house upgrade programs, including the Tribal Electrification Program (TEP), EECBG block grants, the HUD Indian Housing Block Grant Program. Tribes can also take advantage of elective pay/direct pay. More information is available at the link.
