$50,000 - $1,000,000
2025 Wood Products Infrastructure Assistance Program
From U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA)
The USDA Forest Service is offering $20 million to help facilities that buy and process materials from forest restoration projects. These projects aim to reduce the risk of severe wildfires, insect outbreaks, or disease in forests. The funding, made possible by the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, is designed to lower the cost of removing trees and vegetation from federal and Tribal lands while supporting nearby communities. The materials, like wood and plant debris, come from activities such as thinning trees, reducing wildfire hazards, or other efforts to restore healthy forests.
