Accelerating Transmission System Interconnection Strategies (ATSIS) Vouchers Program

The Interconnection Innovation e-Xchange (i2X™) enables a simpler, faster, and fairer interconnection of clean energy resources all while enhancing the reliability, resiliency, and security of our electric grid. The Accelerating Transmission System Interconnection Strategies (ATSIS) Vouchers Program will include two rounds of solicitation and will facilitate matchmaking between transmission owners or Providers (Voucher Recipients) and U.S.-based organizations with specialized expertise in these advanced capabilities (Voucher Providers). Voucher Recipients seeking to enhance their interconnection services with Grid-Enhancing Technologies (GETs) and Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs), as well as training in electromagnetic transient (EMT) modeling, will receive technical support or training from matched Voucher Providers.
