Wood Utilization Assistance Grant

This grant program supports efforts under the Agriculture Improvement Act of 2018 Rural Revitalization Technologies and Inflation Reduction Act to address the challenge of safely disposing of hazardous fuels and wood waste from U.S. forests. The goal is to do this in ways that strengthen wood products and wood energy markets. The program focuses on three key priorities: Reducing wildfire risks and improving forest health, lowering the costs of forest management across all land types, and supporting the economic and environmental well-being of communities. The Wood Innovations Funding Opportunity aims to boost and grow markets for wood products and wood-based energy.
