Clean Energy Grants

Commerce is accepting applications for clean energy projects that modernize the electric grid, enhance community resilience, and promote solar energy deployment. Approximately $32 million is available. Awards will range from $50,000 to $2,500,000. Eligible projects and activities include construction, deployment, installation of clean energy technologies such as solar, wind, storage, biomass, hydrogen, geothermal, pre-development studies, permitting, assessments, community engagement, resilience upgrades, and workforce development. Priority given to construction-ready projects and those benefiting vulnerable/overburdened communities, including Tribes.
