Salmon Recovery Through Local Planning grants support updates to comprehensive plans and development regulations focused on protecting ecosystems, improving water quality and improving vital salmon habitat. These grants support local governments and tribes in Washington to update plans that protect the ecosystem, improve water quality, and salmon habitat. About $3 million in funding is available for cities and counties planning under the WA Growth Management Act, and federally recognized tribes.
