Green Jobs Grant Program 2025

The Washington State Department of Commerce is soliciting proposals for projects demonstrating high-wage, clean job creation in Washington, risk reduction for investments in public and private infrastructure to increase community capacity for clean manufacturing, and investments in workforce development to attract and train the workforce needed for the clean energy economy. Areas of interest include mitigating or reversing climate change, helping communities meet energy and climate change regulations, attracting federal/private investment, developing the advanced workforce, and strengthening WA's leadership in fighting climate change. Eligible activities: planning, predevelopment, design, engineering, and construction of clean technology projects. Projects that include multiple objectives are preferred. Open until all funding obligated; first reviews begin February 17, 2025.
