Tribal Clean Energy Grants

Approximately $6 million is available for federally recognized tribes and their contracted service providers to support the planning, design, and construction of clean energy projects that promote tribal sovereignty, advance resiliency, and contribute to Washington State’s decarbonization goals. Program also supports clean energy siting and permitting. Awards in prior rounds exceeded $17 million combined. Three review rounds are held: spring, summer, and fall 2024. The current application deadline is October 15, 2024.
